FIRE SAFETY
Gull House is a non-smoking property (including decked areas in the garden), in order to keep our guests as safe as possible we also request no candles to be used inside or on the decked areas outside.
In case of a fire:
Please only tackle a fire if you're competent in the use of fire fighting equipment and confident you can deal with the incident and escape quickly. Please do not put yourself at risk.
In the event of a fire or on the sound of a detector activating, occupants should alert others in the immediate vicinity and begin evacuation to the nearest exit. Close the fire door to the fire room if possible. Do not stop to collect belongings.
Evacuation routes: the first floor bedrooms should evacuate through the rear living room and the ground floor through the front door. Assemble at the bottom of the shared driveway and carry out a roll call ASAP. Fire services should be called immediately via 999 on a personal mobile telephone using the following directions:

Plug in torches are available on the first floor landing. These form an important part of our fire safety compliance so we request they are not moved.

Management of fire safety

In the event of a significant fire we would ask guests to exit to property via the emergency exit route if necessary, gather at the meeting point (bottom of driveway) and call 999 using the following directions:
