Parking at Gull House

There is offroad parking for 2 vehicles at the front of the house. Please be mindful that the driveway is shared and leave adequate room for our neighbours to park and have easy access to their property.

Inside the House

The fusebox is housed in the Utility room.

Gull House is fitted with smoke detectors and a carbon monoxide alarm (in the kitchen and utility room). There are small fire extinguishers underneath the kitchen and utility sink.

Heating: The boiler is on permanently. The heating can be adjusted by turning the thermostat, located by the stairs on the first floor. The house is incredibly well insulated so you may find it more comfortable to leave the heating turned down even in the winter.

The televisions come with YouView, the BT Freeview service. The TV room at the back of the house also has a DVD player.

There is free WiFi at the Cottage. Select network ‘BT FKA2PZ’ and enter password TKCYtdaGx9MPq3.          

The washing machine and tumble dryer are located in the Utility Room on the ground floor. 

The U bend under the kitchen sink is very tight so please make sure no oil is poured into the plughole here.

We’ve just had the house recarpeted so request no outdoor shoes on carpeted areas.      

Cushions for the garden furniture are stored in the Utililty. We would appreciate it if you could bring these in if rain is forecast and at the end of your stay. 

You are welcome to use the BBQ. We ask that you use the wire brush to clean it down when you’ve finished - there is a £50 charge payable if the BBQ is left dirty. If the gas is running low at the end of your stay please do let me know so that I can replace it for the next guests.

Rubbish is collected privately at the end of your stay. Please put general waste into black bin liners and then into the black wheely bin and recycling straight into the green wheely bins.
